
Larissa Martinez is Founder and President of Women’s Public Leadership Network (WPLN), a nonprofit that educates, organizes, and inspires center and right-leaning women to enter public office at all levels of government and be effective leaders.
In this role, she uses her nearly two decades of experience as a political strategist to help women across the country get involved in politics, seek public office, and gain leadership positions. Larissa has worked on campaigns at every level, mainly for Republican women candidates.
Larissa is also the President of the consulting firm, Alyte Impact Advisors, whose clients include public leaders, candidates, and organizations aimed at supporting them on the Right such as Catalyst PAC, Lion Leadership Fund, and WPLN Action. In addition, she is an Adjunct Professor with the University of San Francisco where she teaches both master’s and undergrad students. She is also the author of a children’s book, “My Mommy Is a Candidate,” with her sister, Young Children Teaching Artist Mari Martinez Zinser.
Prior to founding WPLN, Larissa served as a Senior Government Relations Professional at Invariant, representing companies ranging from start-ups and Fortune 500s. She has also worked in the Washington offices of three U.S. Senators and two U.S. Congressmen, advising on a range of issues from immigration reform to those in front of the Senate Commerce Committee.
In addition to earning an MPA in Public Administration and Political Management from the University of Southern California, she is also a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia.
Larissa serves as an Advisory Board member of the Women’s Democracy Network at the International Republican Institute, a Leadership Network member of the American Enterprise Institute, is a former member of the Trump Administration’s 2016 Transition Team, and member of the Alumni Board at the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at UGA, which includes co-founder of the affinity group Women of SPIA and an Alumni Impact Award recipient.
