Joy Johnson serves as the Vice President of Communications for the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association (PMA), a statewide business organization representing the interests of manufacturers in Pennsylvania’s public policy process since 1909. She produces and guest hosts PMA Perspective, a weekly half-hour news program covering Pennsylvania business, government, and politics. Joy also manages PMA’s social media and fosters key relationships to advance the organization’s mission of improving Pennsylvania’s economic competitiveness.

With experience spanning marketing, communications, and leadership, Joy has successfully led organizational rebrands, produced events, and built collaborative teams. Her career includes roles in both domestic and international settings, including three years in China, where she managed cultural outreach and government relations for an art gallery.
