Barb Gleim, State Representative, has spent most of her adult life living, working and serving in the community of Carlisle. Prior to her election to the House of Representatives in 2018, she served as the director of operations and then director of business development at the family-owned Gleim Excavating. Barb remains a small business owner and entrepreneur as the co-owner and operator of Hayman Farms, the family farm that she and her husband continue to work growing hay and raising all natural Hereford beef.

In her fourth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Barb currently serves on the House Education Committee, Labor & Industry Committee, Commerce Committee and Aging Committee.  On the national level, Barb is the Chair of the American Legislative Exchange Council Education Taskforce and holds model policies at that level.
