Paul Kengor is professor of political science at Grove City College, senior director of the Institute for Faith and Freedom, and editor of The American Spectator. Dr. Kengor has focused much of his work on Ronald Reagan, faith and the presidency, conservatism, communism, and the Cold War. He is author of over 20 books, including The Devil and Karl Marx , God and Ronald ReaganA Pope and a President, and The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism, which was the basis for the 2024 biopic, Reagan, starring Dennis Quaid. His latest book is American Pontiff: Pope Leo XIV and His Plan to Heal the Church, the first major biography of the new pope. Kengor’s articles have appeared in publications from the Washington Post and USA Today to the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, and he appears regularly on Fox News, Newsmax, EWTN, and C-SPAN.
